CPE-5 is a VDSL bridge with 4-port 10/100 Ethernet. It supports latest and greatest copper-wire communication technology, VDSL2, with connection speed up to 100/100Mbps for upstream/downstream. 10/100 Ethernet provides popular and ubiquitous networking interface for user-side device connectivity.
It is ideal for service providers who wish to provide very high speed broadband service. For those who have CO exchange close to service area, CPE-5 is able to provide high speed Internet service directly from CO. For those who have FTTX connecting business district or high-rise MTU/MDU, CPE-5 is capable of providing very high speed Internet when CO switch is deployed in basement of high building or somewhere close to subscriber’s site. Traditional telephone service can be maintained without interruption.
