This is an ideal solution for broadband access providers who wish to get full control over its coax networks (e.g. EOC) running in MDU subscriber’s building. HomeCNA is also commonly known as EOC (Ethernet over Coax). Broadband access providers can easily reach individual household and start their service offer (and get payment) without door-to-door service or even involve drilling hole and running cable.
By adding NMS adaptor, service providers will be able to monitor the whole network (down to each end point); making configuration change, set bandwidth available to each end point and maximum connected host number based on their payment plan, turn on/off end point when service was terminated. Network management can be performed on http web browser.
