| 2025/03/21~03/26 | Used Shoes Lifesaving Project – Material Collectionn | 8,800 | [Guidelines] Children’s Shoes: Shoes for children under 12 years old are most urgently needed. Used Shoes: No size or age restrictions, must be usable men’s and women’s shoes (mainly flat shoes), without holes, wear, cracks, peeling, oxidation, etc. Used Clothing: No age, gender, or size restrictions, mainly lightweight summer clothing. Only second-hand clothes that are about 90% new are accepted. They must be free of yellowing, stains, pilling, damage, and odors (including mothball smell). Bags: Graduation school bags, and other bags that can fit A4 size (e.g., eco-friendly bags, non-woven fabric bags, hard-shell bags, trolley bags are not accepted). Please clean used shoes and tie them together with shoelaces or rope to keep the feet together. |

Besides finding new homes for beloved books, the proceeds from book donations will also go towards a fund for the physical and mental health of those suffering from sunburn and disfigurement. To ensure your donations are used effectively, please avoid donating the following books: ◆ Old, yellowed, or in very poor condition ◆ Encyclopedias ◆ Textbooks for high school (and below): including reference books or encyclopedias ◆ Language learning materials (including dictionaries) ◆ Law, computer, exam preparation, and college textbooks: those published more than 3 years ago ◆ Restricted, photocopied, or pirated books ◆ All kinds of comics ◆ Time-sensitive magazines: such as fashion magazines, business magazines, financial magazines, etc. ◆ Travel magazines: those published more than 3 years ago ◆ Buddhist scriptures/religious books |
